Have Pies? Will Travel!

We have a funny little Thanksgiving Eve tradition.

Every year we order 2 Domino's Pizzas on Thanksgiving Eve.

Why? So I have BOXES to carry my pies in on Thanksgiving!! LOL

Pizza boxes are the perfect size for me to carry my pies to my sister-in-laws house!

EDITED to add a picture of my pies in the boxes!
We were in a hurry to leave and the sun was beating in the kitchen, so I only had a quick second for a picture, it's not the best, but you can see how great this works!

great idea,,,but does the pizza smell transfer to the pies? that would be my only concern.... I bet the first time everyone thought you was bringing pizza...lol..hugs, lisa

Lisa, we remove the pizza the night before, I wipe the boxes out and leave them sit open until time to transfer the pies - no smell of pizza!!

Great idea but can I give you a tip to add to your tip? I'm a "presentation is everything" kind of girl so . . .unfold those boxes, flip over and refold with the print on the inside. Super easy and so much better looking. Yes, I have done this on USPS boxes too. If you REALLY wanna be like me, draw or rubber stamp the plain brown background.
