Blackberry Cobbler

One of my quickest "go to" desserts is cobbler. I usually have everything on hand, you can use canned fruit, fresh or frozen - and so many different varieties of fruit are good in a cobbler.

Saturday night we were having family over for Flank Steak Sandwiches, so I made a blackberry cobbler from frozen blackberries that were picked out at the family cabin last summer.

Cobbler is quick, easy, looks great, and taste even better with a scoop of vanilla icecream!!

Blackberry Cobbler

2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk

2 cup of blackberries
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar

Mix first 4 ingredients and pour into 9x12 (or 8x8) pan or dish.
Mix berries with sugar and pour over batter. Do not stir or mix berries into batter.
Bake 40 mins at 375 degrees.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla!
