What I Learned This Week

It's time again for Jo-Lynne's What I Learned this Week!

Don't you just love when you learn something about your children?

I learned that Sunshine loves when she gets an assignment at school to write a poem. This week they had to write a limerick about themselves.

Limerick: a kind of humorous verse of five lines, in which the first, second, and fifth lines rhyme with each other, and the third and fourth lines, which are shorter, form a rhymed couplet.

Her limerick just tickled me and shows what a fun person she is.

Sunshine's Limerick

I live in a house as crazy as can be,
But I'm not embarrassed because that's just me.
We're not extremely wealthy,
But we're all very healthy.
So we're just an average family, as you can see.

It's been a busy busy time here now that basketball season is underway!

I've learned that Sunshine's love of playing basketball has grown each year, along with her skill of playing!
