2010 St. Louis Race for the Cure

I recently told you how this year was the 10th year that our family has participated in the St. Louis Race for the Cure, in memory of my sister-in-law.

Today had a record breaking 71,000 people registered!!

It's an AMAZING place to be!
Look how there are people in the streets of St. Louis for as far as you can see.

June 12, 2010 (163/365) 2010 St. Louis Race for The Cure

This is a great video put together from one of the local news stations, KSDK.com

Every year we get a group shot of all the family and friends on our team that were able to make it that year.
My family + 2 friends at the finish line.

2010 Race for the Cure!

Wonderful event and it is so great that you continue to participate each year. I have a friend who participates in our local event each year and we do all we can to support her family group.

That's awesome! We did that in February in El Paso, TX this year. It was our first year. I wish I would have known about this one and we would have driven down to do the one in St. Louis. If we are still here in MO next year when it happens we will definitely participate! Great pix and thanks for sharing!

My 6month old son and I did the race this year in Columbus Ohio. We had around 62 thousand in ours. Isn't it the best feeling in the world?

It's such an incredible feeling to be in the middle of it all!!.....EVERYONE there is "connected"....we saw a young man during the walk....his sign on his back said he was walking in memory of his mom, he lost her on 6-10-10...that was 2 days ago!!..my hubby went up and gave the guy a hug and told him how strong he was to be there today!! .....that's just what it's like!! and I love that my kids get to experience that type of humanity.....you always see all the bad, it feels good to show your kids people can be good, compassionate and supportive!!
