Saying goodbye..............

I learned that it's not easy saying good by to a beloved pet.

Last Thursday night we took our 3-1/2 year old kitty, Kix to the vet. He had been sick for the last few days, and was getting progressively worse.

The somber drive to the vet with Sunshine, was long and slow. We were pretty sure what the outcome was going to entail.

Our wonderful vet, Dr. Klepper at Pet Station, confirmed our suspicions, and after much soul searching and tears we decided it was best for Kix to be put to sleep.

Sunshine and I held him and said our tearful good-byes.

We have many fond memories that we will forever keep in our hearts as well as pictures that will always be a treasure to us.
