Join the Garden Party!!

~Kimba at A Soft Place to Land is having a Garden Party!!~

I don't have much of a garden, but I do have a little area around the front of my house. I didn't buy very much this year (spent it all on the new camera - which I did not use for these pictures. I don't have my desktop computer back yet) but I just love some of the new/old items I got to plant in, like this old rust wagon! ♥

You would think with all of the rain we've had that would help my plants, but actually I feel like they're looking a little sad. But I threw together a little collage of what's around the front of my house for the party.

Click the button below to join the party, or to see everyone elses outside projects!

Oh, and if you'd like to hear about my NEW TRUE LOVE - head over to Chic Critique for my post there today on THE most AMAZING Mascara!!

Kristen, the hosta's are about the only thing I CAN grow with no effort! LOL --- they we cuts from my mom's hostas several years ago - I planted 2 of them and they just get bigger every year - I actually need to thin mine out.

Sorry, don't know any secrets, they just grow for me! LOL

Great blog.. Just found it today. The only problem I had was trying to read the read print against the red background. Adorable family by the way. I'll be back! :)

Oh well after I posted your background went away and it is white so I can read everything now. I think my computer is on the fritz.

SO cute and inviting! Love the country personality of the entry.

Just make sure that flag gets turned around :) (The flag should always be hung with the blue at the top left)

Nice blog!

Yours look much better than mine! We went on a 10 day trip and didn't have anyone available to water so had to leave the plants in the bathtub (with an inch of water). I have lost two so far due to over-watering, possibly a third. Also, my husband forgot to leave the light on when he left the house so they sat in the dark for 10 days. I'm sure that didn't help their mood. :(

For someone that hasn't spent money this season you have some beautiful blooms going on! I always shop the clearance sales to pick up some plants. One summer I got 6 inch geraniums for $0.10 each! I went crazy and my backyard containers were filled with bright red blooms!
