ColorInc Gallery Wrap Canvas Giveaway & Coupon

Raise your hand if you're a fan of gallery wrapped canvas! You too? It is seriously one of my favorite ways to see my photo's on my walls. There's just something special about seeing your photos printed on a canvas and wrapped around a canvas frame! It's an impressive treatment and has more impact than a print in a frame! It looks like ART!

After Amanda worked her magic, I was ready to turn it over to ColorIncProLabs for my canvas!

ColorIncProLabs works a little different than other online photo sites I have used in the past. They have an order processing program called ColorInc ROES. The first time you order from them, you install this program onto your computer. It was quick and easy to install. It took me a little bit to figure out how it worked and how to navigate the program , but once I got the hang of it, everything went pretty quickly.

My biggest problem was with my photo. When you print a gallery wrap, part of your picture is going to be wrapped around the sides, so you don't want to crop in so close that you are wrapping part of their face or something weird - so I had to keep editing my photo until I had the crop right. This is what was so nice about the ROES program! It helps you estimate which part of your image will be wrapped around the sides. It shows you the edges of you image that will be on the sides of your canvas- a feature that other sites don't have. The last gallery wrap I ordered did not show me this when I placed my order - fortunately that photo worked fine, but in the case of this picture, I would have been really disappointed had I not been able to see this ahead of time and been able to make the changes I needed.

After importing your images into ROES, you choose the size and type of prints you want. This ROES system is great for professional photographers because you can process multiple orders for multiple clients and package the prints in “boutique” packaging. However, this is fantastic for us amateurs as well.

ColorInc’s turnaround was very quick. I had my canvases within just a few days of placing my order. The quality is amazing. The colors are true, the canvas is wrapped tight and there is a wire across the back for hanging the print. I am SOOO please and excited with how they turned out!

A feature that I absolutely love is that the bottom corners have rubber feet to keep the mount in place once you hang it.

Swiffer Sweeper Vac Review & Giveaway!

Recently, I was contacted by My Blog Spark to see if I was interested in reviewing the fabulous Swiffer Sweeper Vac and of course, my answer was YES!

Most of the time cleaning gets old. I love it when I find something that is easy to use and is made by a trusted name! The new Swiffer Sweeper Vac vacuums AND dusts on any hard surface. That's right! Not only does it vacuum.....but it's dusts your floors too!

A good part of our house is covered in ceramic tile, and with a dog that brings in every leaf from outside, I literally have to go over my tile floors daily...sometimes even twice a day. My swivel sweeper has bit the dust, and as much as I enjoy my Dyson ball, I hate to pull it out THAT often! Doing the floors is definitely one of my least favorite chores. The Swiffer Sweeper Vac is the answer to my prayers! !

The sweeper was super easy to put together, the hardest part was waiting for it to charge over night! After you are done vacuuming, you simply empty the small canister and plug it back in for your next use.

I've been using my Swiffer Sweeper Vac for a few weeks now, and I'm still loving it! I really like the way the neck swivels. It zips around corners just as easily as it does along straight edges. The fact that it has a rechargeable battery - making it CORDLESS - is another huge plus! I love that I don't have to unplug and move to another outlet to get to the other side of the room, or down stairs. Eating out is something we always look forward to and getting break from cooking is always welcome! Besides, who doesn't like to sit down and be waited on, and not have a messy kitchen to clean up after eating?

I had not been to a Chili's in some time because we don't not have one close to our house, I used to eat there a lot when I worked close to one a few years ago....I was excited to go back!

It was hard to choose from the new menu! So many many delicious choices

Hollywood went with the Big Mouth Bites:

Four mini burgers topped with applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, sautéed onions and Ranch dressing on sesame seed buns. Served with crispy onion strings and jalapeño-ranch dressing.

I chose the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas:

Served with sour cream, house-made pico de gallo and signature dressing. Your choice of Chicken Bacon Ranch or Jalapeno Steak.

The Tropical Sunrise Margarita did not disappoint!

Well, that is only the beginning to the new yummy menu items you will find at Chili's. They now offer their new “Fresh Pairings” menu (which includes an appetizer and entree for only $9.99!). The Fresh Pairings menu includes 6 great appetizers, 13 entrees to indulge your taste buds.

Our food was wonderful, and our waiter was always on the ball!! Lunch time is always so nice because restaurants are generally much quieter and the service is faster! I'm sure Chili's will become a regular stop during our "girls day" !

At the first sign of my cold that morning, I popped a chewy Zicam Zavor in my mouth, and continued to do so every 3 hours thru out the day. Kitchen Scale Giveaway! {CLOSED}

For Valentines Day we made our own Chocolate Covered Strawberries!! They are SO easy to make and a lot cheaper than purchasing them from the candy stores!! The Bug Man went to Whole Foods (my new LOVE) and got a carton of these HUGE strawberries! Seriously, I don't think I've ever seen strawberries SO big....and GOOD!! OMG if you haven't tried the fruit at Whole Foods, then you haven't tried fresh fruit!!........I'm just thankful they're not closer to us, because they're not cheap, but SO worth the money AND the drive!! I had my first visit to Whole Foods in early Feb and sent the Bug Man two more times that month!

Well, EatSmart Products had recently contacted me about reviewing their Precision Pro Scale. It was sitting on my kitchen counter the day I made the strawberries......so I plopped 3 of those beauties on the scale just so I could see how big they really were!

Would you look at that.......7.o5 oz!! Those three strawberries were nearly 1/2 pound!!

I have never owned a kitchen scale. But I have recently discovered how important a kitchen scale can be when it comes to baking. A scale allows precision and control so you will have reliable results when baking!

POM Wonderful -WFMW

I've been keeping a secret for a few months now................

This has been my new daily addiction

POM Wonderful mixed with my Sprite Zero!

Seriously people....this stuff is DELCIOUS!!

Back in late December the awesome people at POM Wonderful sent me a few bottles of their 100% Pomegranate juice to try.

My original intention was to use it in a recipe.....they have lots of amazing recipes on their web site. I thought of trying it in a sauce to serve over pork, or may in some orange muffins.

I have NEVER eaten a pomegranate or any thing pomegranate flavored, so when the box arrived I was anxious to open one of the snazzy bottles and give it a try!
My whole family stood around the table as we opened the box and passed the opened bottle around!
We LOVED it! It's a little sweet and a little tart and a whole lot of healthy!!

You can find POM Wonderful Juices in many varieties in the refrigerated section of the produce department of your local supermarket. They're a little on the expensive side, so I love that I can just add a little to my soda every day.
I enjoy the taste, the benefits and a little 8 oz bottle will last me several weeks. (I only drink one soda a day)

This year I have resolved to bring a little order to our lives and our home. You see, I might be tidy, but lack organization skills!

The book is aimed towards preteens and teens. I couldn't get my 13 year old to touch the book, but I sure read it. She SHOULD have read it, because we all know she needs every ounce of help she can get when it comes to organization, but then, don't most all teens? I shared his funny, down-to-earth tips and solutions for common clutter with her, including the step by step guides to help her get through them.

The full length DVD was a GREAT visual!! Peter spends more than an hour on tips, techniques and encouragement that will help you declutter every room in your house. He first shows you how to declutter, then takes you room by room to offer tips as to how to keep everything in its place and how to keep it that way.

The red plastic storage case was a great new feature! It's so much better than a cardboard box that wears and falls apart over time. It's slim style makes it easy to carry to a friends house or makes a great gift!

This game will definitely be showing up time and time again at our family game night!

My new Epson Workforce 610 printer!!

In December I attended the online conference, A Girlfriends Guide to the Business of Blogging. It was a fabulous webinar geared to help you ramp up your blogging skills.

Conference organizer Debbie Lawrence put together a GREAT group of speakers for three days of online sessions, and there was an attendance prize,

I've now had my printer for some time and I thought I'd tell you how amazing this thing is!

• The Workforce 610 has photo print options as well, it’s nice to be able to just stick my memory card in the printer and print, I can even make adjustments if need be.

• Wifi- this has got to be my favorite feature!! I have this printer wirelessly hooked up to my network thru wifi and we can access it from any where in the house with any of our computers.

I haven't had the printer long enough to see how long the ink cartridges last, but so far so good!

This thing can do pretty much anything you want it to, it truly is an all-in-on printer.
